We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or magnification.
What we have done
The site is built with semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks, so screen readers can navigate by heading and region. Every interactive control is reachable and operable with a keyboard, and receives a clearly visible focus outline.
Form fields have programmatically associated labels; validation errors are announced to assistive technology and are linked to the field they describe.
Text colour and background combinations are chosen to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios. Page text can be resized without loss of content or functionality.
Animation is kept minimal and is suppressed entirely for visitors whose system preference is set to reduced motion.
A 'Skip to main content' link is provided as the first focusable element on every page.
Known limitations
Embedded video is hosted on a third-party platform whose player we do not control. Where captions are unavailable on a video, please contact the helpdesk and we will provide the content in another form.
